What You’ll Need
French Press, coarse grind, fresh Maestro Coffee, kettle, scale.
Recipe
Coffee: 30g
Water: 450g
Ratio: 1:15
Temperature: ~200°F
Total Time: 4 minutes
Steps
1. Add 30g coarse coffee to the French Press.
2. Pour 450g hot water, then stir gently.
3. Place the lid on top and let it steep for 4 minutes.
4. Slowly press the plunger down.
5. Pour immediately to avoid over-extraction.
Pro Tips
Want a cleaner cup? Pour through a paper filter.
Prefer stronger? Use 32–34g coffee.
Prefer lighter? Use 28g and shorten steep to 3:30.
