What You’ll Need
Chemex, Chemex filter, medium-coarse grind, fresh Maestro Coffee, kettle, scale.
Recipe
Coffee: 40g
Water: 680g
Ratio: 1:17
Temperature: 200°F
Total Time: ~4:30
Steps
1. Rinse your Chemex filter and warm the brewer.
2. Add 40g medium-coarse ground coffee.
3. Bloom with 80g water for 45 seconds.
4. Pour in small circles up to 450g.
5. Finish pouring to 680g.
6. Brew should finish around 4:30.
Pro Tips
Too light? Grind finer.
Too slow? Grind coarser.
Swirl before serving for extra clarity.
